Free Classified Ad Advertising

Advertising on the internet is about getting more for less.  What you should be asking yourself is, "How can I get more leads/sales from my ads? " When you approach your online advertising from this perspective you'll be much more successful.  Free classified ad sites offer a hassle free, no cost promotion solution for your business across the world without taking much time or effort from you.  We all know that advertising and getting your business's name out to the public and to your targeted audience plays a big role in how well your business grows and succeeds. However, not all start up, or online business's, have a big budget for advertising.  Many small business owners and entrepreneurs who do not have enough money for advertising take advantage of these sites for marketing their products/services.  By promoting their products/services through these online sites, they not only maintain their budget, but also get maximum exposure in a short amount of time. These websites offer the best platforms for people who are just starting their businesses.

Classified ads should be eye catching and interesting to whoever reads them. It's never a bad idea to look at the most popular ads and see how they are written.  Make sure your ad has enough information about the product and include keywords in the title and in the first sentence of the body of your ad.  Keywords are short little phrases that will get your ad noticed when a viewer is searching for a specific product or service. Some examples of keywords/keyword phrases are "work from home", "home based business", "make money online", etc.  The more sites you place your ads on the more traffic you will achieve. Remember to place your ads in the most relevant categories, this will ensure you are reaching out to your targeted market.  It's also a good idea to jazz up your ads whenever possible by adding a picture of the product, a direct link, and/or your business logo, however, not all free classified ad sites allow this.  If one of your ads is not working, go back and change the title or make some adjustments in the body of the ad.  The key is to not give up, keep making adjustments until you are achieving the amount of responses you are comfortable with.

This leads me to which web sites you should submit to.  With due diligence and research, you can locate the better classified ad sites by doing a search on your favorite search engine.  Keep in mind that a quality website should have at least 100 ads posted in a two or three day time period.
Any figure less than this would mean that there are not enough visitors to that website, thus affecting the amount of traffic/sales/leads your ads will generate for you.
